I received a call from my work and my boss that I needed to call this ‘Locator Services Company’ in order for me not to be served legal papers at my place of employment. This company also called my cell and informed me that I will be served to appear in Court for a payday loan with BMG for $300. They had the last four of my SS number and told me of a date of the claim (four years ago!) They said they served my bank with an affidavit to give them my info. Banks don’t give out personal info! They said if I didn’t give them my credit card info, I would have to go to court and it would be $5, 000., instead of the $650 that I currently owe them. When I asked for the information to be emailed to me of who I owe and why I owe it, they said they could only do that if I PAID THEM FIRST! I explained that obviously I would not be giving my credit card or any other information to anyone that I did not know.
