I had dealt with the Balaji Cargo located at 321, 3rd floor, Apsara Cinema Complex, Delhi UP Border…company contact Mr. Vinod [protected]. I was relocating from Delhi to Montreal, Canada the company firstly charged an unbelievable amount and made all these false promises of how the shipment would be delivered to my door. Anyhow my shipment when it arrived in montreal was completely damaged…all the furniture etc was all broken, glass shattered…sofa had holes pooked in it…dining table crushed..clothes boxes all crushed. Before taken possession of the shipment I had the affiliate company in montreal write a note on the release that all the belongings were damaged and also took pictures at the warehouse where the shipment had to be picked up. I called Mr. Vinod and told him what had happened. Upon receiving my shipment I had to return to India for an emergency…I called up Mr Vinod and he told me it was not possible to get the claim as he didnt even know which company he had insured the shipment with…they had nothing in the file. He said all that could be done is he could return my insurance premium of 1500 rupees. WHAT A SLAP IN THE FACE!! I had a loss of personal belongings worth at least 40000 and he was returning my insurance premiums. I wrote numerous emails to him and he did nothing…I am quite busy and could not follow up with this not to mention I travel back and forth from Canada to India. This company is unprofessional and make false promises…anyone wanting to move should not deal with this company.
